Flash Fiction Friday - 2-17-12

Flash Fiction Friday. What can you do with only 100 words?

He didn’t want to be here. If it had been up to him, he wouldn’t be. Unfortunately, his little sister insisted this was one party she couldn’t miss, and there was no way he was letting her come by herself. She was too naïve; too trusting.

She’d followed him to New York two months ago from the small Midwest town they grew up in, and if anything happened to her their mom would never let him hear the end of it.

Every sleazy guy in there seemed to be flirting with her, and she was eating up all the attention.
